Tailoring Question

My main is a 70 mage and I had 375 mining and 360 JCing. However being a mage, I fall into the age old delimma of fire or frost. Right now since I made it to 70 and am doing more arena/BG stuff, I switched to Frost. I then took the plunge and dropped mining and took up tailoring to craft Frozen Shadoweave (for dungeons/raids), I power leveled tailoring to 365 in 5 hours. Now I know some people are die hard fire fans and some are die hard frost fans, but I am somewhere in the middle. I leveled as a deep fire mage and now need the utility of frost BUT that doesn't mean that I dont want to go back to fire at some point. My question is, since I have "specialized" into shadowcloth is there no going back? Is there a way that if I spec fire again at some point that I can craft the spellfire set?|||quot from wowwiki:

"Since patch 2.1.0, you may now re-specialize. It will cost 150 to unlearn the current specialization at lvl 70 and 20 to learn a new specialization. While the cost to learn another specialization is also 20 , the cost to unlearn is only 50 at lvl 63, so it seems to scale with the character level. A guess would be lvl 60-64: 50 , lvl 65-69: 100 and 150 at lvl 70 WARNING: Unlearning a particular specialization will disable your ability to use the items previously crafted under that school."|||To do so, just go to the Shadowcloth master in Lower City, Shattrath. When you talk with him you have the option to say that you wish to unlearn Shadoweave tailoring. Then you're free to pick up another one.|||Ok so total cost would be 170g....that is not that bad. Here is one more question, if I unlearn Shadoweave and then learn spellfire, can I got back to Shadoweave and still use the Frozen shadoweave that I made prior to the whole switch?|||You can only use the items if you have the correct speciality. You would not be able to use the frozen shadoweave gear again until a time when you re-specialise back to it.|||But, and I think this answers the question you asked a little better - your frozen shadow weave won't disappear when you change specializations, you just won't be able to equip it. (So you could bank it, in case you change back.)|||or just get T4, the new badge rewards and some pvp items and shard both tailoring sets :)
