Enchants

ok i have a pvp and a pve 2H sword. now which enchants are best for each? savagery for pve and executioner for pvp?|||btw im a ret pally ;p|||Bump, anyone?|||not too sure. i know the benefits of savagery. its constant. with the procs on executioner, it will work somewhat like mongoose, where there's a proc.

and by the time the thing procs... will your pvp target still be running around with enough health for you to really take advantage of it proc'ing?

if anything... an executioner proc would make more sense in a longer, constant, boss fight, where you can take full advantage of the duration of the proc.|||I prefer savagery for pvp(a lot cheaper too), I don't want to have to rely on a proc.|||I think the general rule for Ret paladins in PvP is that you go for Executioner if you have a decent amount of ignore armor and Mongoose if you don't. So, unless you have the season 3 sword, Dory's Embrace and the Vindicator's ring, go for Moongoose. I suppose you can try Savagery but my argument against it is that we need to crit as much as possible to keep a 3 stack of Vengeance up. Savagery may be best for PvE. You'd have to run WWS reports with different enchants to really prove one way or the other, unless you really want to delve into the math behind it.|||Getting 3 crits is easy, the only time I don't get it up quickly is when I fight one person and have others helping me. The burst of mongoose overall is probably better, enspecially for PvE, but the gains for PvP are fairly small for the extra cost.
