Buying Spellcloth Cooldown--the Motes?

So I had a question I would like some more opinions on, who do you guys consider to be the one to recieve the motes that drop of the elemental that spawns?

Personally I think the buyer should get them; they're providing the mats and paying for everything.

The person who does use's the cooldown should, The buyer is buying the cooldown not the mats that drop.|||Agreed. Its not the motes the buyer wants, I keep the motes that drop.

Pretty sure it's tagged for whoever creates the spellcloth automatically but I'm not sure how it would work in a party.

Have you guys ever actually had someone ask for the motes? Either way, thanks for your opinions so far. I do see the logic in it at least even if I don't totally think it's right.|||tbh i've never had anyone ask about keeping them, I just see it as part of my payment for using my 4 day cd.

Most are just happy to get their cloth.|||My opinion.......

The buyer in most cases look for someone with the spellcloth specialty and get a 2 for 1 special as it is.

The crafter has to take the time and effort to go to netherstorm for the benefit of the buyer.

An elite has to be killed and if you are in a party it can be anyone in the group who gets the mote drop, but my firm belief is the crafter should always get the motes.

Tipping is at the descretion of the buyer.......returning the motes is at the descretion of the crafter. Perhaps negotiations!|||Thanks for all the replies guys; this thread gave me exactly what I wanted, some more opinions on the whole process. I just see it as I'm paying them to fly out to netherstorm and use their cooldown so I should get all the products that come from that cooldown; something they most likely would've otherwise neglected and not made any money off of at all (Although I could be entirely wrong about this part).

Either way it's obvious it all comes down to negotating everything beforehand.

If somebody wants to "buy my cooldown" They get their cloth right away when they give me the mats ( replenish my stock later at my leisure). But honestly most people either craft their own or buy it from the AH. You also see a lot of "WTT Shadowcloth 4 spellcloth" in trade
