i can only put herbs in my herb bag and there doesn't seem to be any bonuses from using it.
I could have just as easily bought a much larger bag, only the herb bag was still an improvement and it was a reallly good price.
so what's the intended purpose of these item specific bags?|||The item-specific bags are usually available in larger sizes at the same price. Back when a 16 slot bag was considered large, 20 slot herbalism bags were as easy to come by as the 16 slot general bags, and the largest bags were the 24 slot herbalism bag and the 18 slot general bags. Now that there are 20 slot general bags, the 28 slot herbalism bags are actually a bit cheaper (in materials at least, I haven't priced them in the AH).|||oh ok
i guess i found it then|||When you go picking the herbs always go into the herb bag.... that's a huge organizational bonus right there.|||i leave my profession bags in my bank. it gives me easy access to what i need quick. so when you do get better bags, just move your herb bag to a bank bag slot.|||Quote:

As was pointed out, more slots for a cheaper price and the auto-sorting of having your herbs go directly to the herb bag saves a lot of time.
I did want to point out that generally the profession bags will hold some other related items. (Don't have herbalism so I can't say what they are for that profession) The Leather Workers bag will of course take skins and hides, but it also takes primal earth, armor patches, salt shaker, and some other craft related items like iron belt buckles.|||It's always interesting what will end up in my enchanting bag without me noticing for a few days.|||Quote:

AFAIK, herbalism bags can hold things like Bloodscythe from ZG and Unidentified Plant Parts from Zangarmarsh.
