help my LW make money please

I've got a 360 leatherworker and I'm stumped as to what would be the most effectively profitable thing to craft and sell on the AH. I was thinking clefthide and cobrahide leg armors, is there a better option?|||Clefthide / Cobrahide

Nethercleft / Nethercobra

Buy normal knothide leather, turn it into Thick

Drums of Battle / Restoration

Disenchant Rugged Leather Belts

But... everything depends on your AH prices.|||I think the Clefthide / Cobrahide goes for around 80-100 on my server, but I've also had a couple of people tell me that just doing the SSO dailies is faster gold, is that true?|||Quote:

Walk to AH. Buy mats for 50g*

Walk to mailbox, pick up mats.

Make item.

Walk from mailbox to AH.

Sell stuff for 80g*

I dunno, seems faster than a daily to me... but, that completely depends on your server's prices. And don't forget that the Armor patches have a limited sale/day. You can't just say, well, I'll make 10 and get 300g instead of 30! You still won't sell more than one or two and it'll just cost you a deposit.

*Prices pulled from thin air.|||Quote:

Quiver of a Thousand Feathers if you can find Primal Nether at a reasonable price.|||even riding crops sell decently.|||personally my advice to you is if you wanna make gold look up on playing the AH (buy low, sell high) 10-15 minutes a day can make you a KILLING if you do it right.|||Quote:

most people do not know where to start.

i suggest start with something you're familiar with, in this case, leathers. keep track of what people have been selling for, usually, this will also be the prices people have been buying for too. if you see a bunch go below a certain value, buy. then resell several days or even hours later when the average, median, or whatever price you gauge with, goes up. then sell for more and you should have a bit more gold.

then expand to more types of leathers. cloths, primals, rep items, ores, herbs, flasks, potions, pearls, gems... and if you're richer, there's even a decent market out there for recipes. yes, i just picked up a JC recipe for 100 gold. usually sells in my server for about 250-300 gold. happens. you just have to know where to look.
