Is there anything, an addon or something within the game, that will allow me to delete some of the recipes for my professions and secondaries that I will no longer make? When you level up in either you are left with an array of recipes and schematics you'll never make again. In Cooking, for instance, it's really unlikely my lvl 352 cook is going to make another Herb Baked Egg! It would be great to be able to clear some of them out of the lists when I go to the Trade interface.|||Quote:

An addon named Skillet will allow you to filter out grey recipes. It replaces the default WoW Professions frame. I don't think it's on this site, but it is on WowInterface.|||Quote:

Thanks very much. I'll be able to do some pruning of recipe lists.|||Further to the above, I have to say that this addon is great. It doesn't delete grey recipes/schematics but just allows you to black them out so you can't see them if you wish. Then, if for some reason you want to call up a grey item, you can do so with one click.|||TradeJunkie is nice too. It doesn't remove gray skills, but it adds a search feature as well as a section of recipes you're missing, and usually where to find them. Goes great with Skillet.|||I personally like to use Advanced Tradeskill Window. It doubles the size of your professions window, with all the recipes on the left (which can be sorted by name, difficulty, category, or custom) and the details of a recipe on the right (with an option to queue recipes). I really love the queue, because in doing so you'll create a 'shopping list' that gives you a nice overview of what you need and lets you buy the stuff from the vendor with one click. When you've got everything, you just hit 'process queue' and sit back. :)
(no, it doesn't filter out the grey recipes, but when you sort by difficulty you get the green/yellow/orange ones on top so it's just as easy for levelling)|||Thankis, all. I'll have a look at these other suggestions too. I can see that it would be easy to become a bit of an addon junkie with this game.
