What's the most funnest profession?

any thoughts? :jig:|||Porn star.

Oh, wait, you mean in-game? Engineering is a definite leader at the moment, although it looks as though Inscription will give it a run for its money.|||fishing ;/|||I have JC and I love it. I make a serious amount of gold with it and it helps make friends as well (cutting gems for ppl with the matts, etc.) Plus I just hit 370 and at 365 I started making meta gems which help out the guild and you never have to worry about socket gems, since you make them yourself. Plus, the matts aren't too bad either usually when learning new stuff you'll have a recipe that needs a good amount of matts but you'll also learn one that uses low amount of matts as well so its easy to lvl it up. Once you hit the 345 you do hit a wall. but you can hit up the AH for the supplies which the most you'll spend is 200-300g depending on the current market for the matts. all in all JC has been the funnest profession yet|||Quote:

this wall can be easily avoided by making a lot of adamantite rings i think. from the adamantite dust i got from disenchanting, i was able to make mercurial adamantite too. it took me 2 seconds to get a reply for a mecurial stone in trade channel. my wall, or so, was at the 150s-200s. it really helps if you have some rep with shatar, lower city, consortium, or sso. sso can probably provide you with gems cuts all the way through, but i also had shatar items too.

jc with mining is fun. i always like getting gems from mining, which is a blast, and then an hour later, prospecting all three or four stacks i got and getting some good results. i like the whole, "lets see what this prospect will give me." feel. its almost like a prize. life is like a stack of adamantite--you'll never know what you're going to get. lol.|||Quote:

ROFL, Indeed. I like that.

I too love the feeling of Prospecting and hoping you get something good. You dont always get what you want but then sometimes you get more than you expect. Cant wait for Inscription with Milling|||Engineering.

- you get to build your own flying mount

- you can get an extractor to suck motes out of mid-air - free motes you just happen upon while travelling

- you can attempt to ressurect a player by using Goblin Jumper Cables (XL), which might be very handy if for instance the healer died and you need them to ressurrect the rest of the party (handy in the case of a Rogue who Vanished and survived the wipe, for instance)

- you can make Dimensional Rippers, which function as a possible hearthstone to places like Everlook or Area 52

Just a few gems. I really would like to be an Engineer on my main, but I don't want to give up tailoring and jewelcrafting.|||Quote:

AND you look very cool in goggles.

2 points off maxing engineering I would say it has been a lot of fun (more so because I've power leveled it at each stage--I'd hate to do this proff on a first character).

::releases exploding sheep::|||thanks for the replies, I want to do it all but I finally just got tailoring and enchanting on my new priest. I got tailoring just because i wanted to and I got enchanting because running around gathering peacebloom and silverleaf that my alchemist doesn't even use anymore got really boring. And enchanting has intrigued me since professions were announced. I figure the priest should at least be self sufficient this way, i did give him 7 gold but I'll call it a loan|||I don't particularly find any of them "fun", but engineering does allow me to blow things up so I'll go with that.
