Just a quick question that I hope you guys can help me with (most wow sites are blocked at work) - does Jewelcrafting have any useful items up to skill 150? Is it worth taking for a twink?
I suppose on a related note, my twink currently has engineering and enchanting. Engineering is essential for the goggles, but enchanting pretty useless - any recommendations for a second profession?|||No, except some rings you might be able to use but you can get those rings in AH anyways.|||Not much to get from JC as a 19 twink except the healing statues (heavy stone statue at 110 skill heals for 375 over 15 sec if I remember correctly). Apart from that all JC items of interest can be bought at ah or made by a different char.
Considering that there's not too much offered from other professions (except the obvious engineering) then why not go for it. Twinking is pretty much about squeezing as much power into the little twink as possible, and 375 healing every 2 min isn't a bad thing in my opinion.
So unless you have a pressing need to have a different profession there's no real reason not to take jc as a twink, coupled with engineering.
Keep in mind that it shares the cooldown with a number of other items, for example healthstones and mana stones.|||JC is far more of interest starting @ 35ish than @ 19.
Then you get some BoP trinkets that are rather nice.
