Leatherworking?

Ok, I've really only got 1 character, a BM Hunter with Skinning and Leatherworking. Skinning is 375 and LW is about 370. When I first started playing, someone said something to me like "LW is great, especially Dragonscale". I haven't really thought much else about it except when I see the occasional gear that says requires Arcane Leatherworking or Dragonscale Leatherworking. I got a pattern in Black Morass y'day that requires Arcane Leatherworking.

Questions

1) What types of Leatherworking are there?

2) Can you only choose 1?

3) Is there a list of items that can be crafted by each?

4) Where and when do I choose one?

Thanks|||Yes you can only choose one

Dragonscale is the best option for a hunter. You need to see a trainer in Badlands who will give you a small quest to make some items to proceed

He will provide you with some epic patterns for your chest, belt and gloves I think.|||Quote:

yes.

or azshara if you're alliance.

one thing to note is that some lower level recipes belonging to each specialty is not exclusive, so you can also go to the other trainers and learn them, for the cost of some mats (i remembrer learning some tribal recipes from the alliance trainer in feathermoon stronghold in exchange for some mats, which included wildvine).

btw, what is Arcane Leatherworking?
