I'm not sure, but once I hit 80 depending on what benefits most ill go that obv, which profs you guys think will be the best for dks?|||I'll probably do something like Blacksmithing for the gear and then maybe Jewelcrafting since I've never tried it.|||I'll go herbalism and Inscription, because i already have maxed BS, mining, JC and alch (and tailoring, LW and skinning, but those wouldn't be for DKs anyway). The other option I'm considering is Enchanting, but I have a disenchanter alt already and none with Insctiprion so it seems to be the more interesting option.|||Quote:

I going to start mine as a miner/skinning. Put all my skins up in the AH and bank my ores. When I hit 80, will eventually go BS/JC.|||Heh, my thought exactly - going to start with mining/skinning for the first bit. My main has jc without mining, so it'd be very nice to have a toon that can supply her with the necessary materials for the trip to 450. My other 70 has skinning/lw, but a few extra pieces of leather are always nice.
I'm not sure if I'll switch those profs later on.. maybe I could go for BS, but now that the gathering profs give those nice added bonuses I might just stick with those instead. I mean, BS isn't necessary to get some nice gear (just run some instances), but the extra hitpoints and crit that mining/skinning give are quite valuable.|||Remember that there will be no top end BoP epics for the crafting professions in Wrath. There will be good epics, but Blizzard has said these will be BoE so I don't see any reason to grab a crafting profession if your reason is to make great endgame gear for your toon - you can buy that. In fact, given the cost of leveling a crafting profession I don't see any reason to take any of them aside from pure enjoyment.|||Quote:

Hate for my super hero class DK become my "farmer" alt, already have a crazy melee farmer that does that. Hopefully some of the BOP gems will make up for the gathering bonuses|||I love crafting, just getting 2 gathering professions is boring. I've done it on one alt when I ran out of new professions and will never do it again. And at least herbalism is a must, because both my casters dropped their gathering skill in favor of Tailoring and I dont have high level herbalist to help my priest level his Alchemy.|||I always forget to skin stuff|||I have a LW/Skinner/Enchanter/Tailor/Herb/Alch/Inscrib already. I decided I finally wanted a engineer. So thats what my DK is. I got him 260 last night but because I have been power leveling it his mining is only 96. This is my first miner so I need to get off my butt and work on that.
