[:1]I am in the Dagger Hills, seeing yellow nodes that are appearing on the map for copper and tin, but when I reach them they are not visible before me....just on the map. I am almost level 100 in mining so I definitely should be able to mine them...the nodes just don't seem to exist!|||Sounds like the nodes are actually in the Deadmines, which is directly below the Dagger Hills. Can be a little confusing sometimes - normally the nodes will appear grey if they're below ground, but I've noticed that sometimes they're yellow.|||The nodes won't be in the Deadmines instance. It'll be the underground area around the deadmines.|||Is there any way to get to them without going through the instance itself?|||Yeah - as Erinion says, the nodes will be in the non-instanced part. There's quite a lot of tunnel there that's not instanced, and it contains normal mobs, non-elites. Good place to farm for linen and wool cloth too. The mobs are around the 15 to 18 level range I think.|||Nodes that are underground are more grey in color than the ones that are on your level.
I think any lvl 20+ character can go into the deadmines without risk. Another good area to mine for copper/tin (the one I use) is Loch Modan, the eastern part of the lake (i.e. between the excavation site and the dam). Just follow the edges of the rocks (on your mount) and you'll see plenty of nodes.|||Nice thread necro ;)
