Unable to make certain weapons after time

[:1]Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked already. I did a search but found nothing.

Ok, I've gained the blacksmith skill to make a particular weapon. Say a copper axe. I've made a few, but all of a sudden one of the ingredients is greyed out and the "Create" button is disabled....

Now I definately have all the ingredients (the quantity is plain to see) and my inventory isn't full. What gives? Is there a limit to how many you make?

I asked a few players in game if they knew and it didn't appear to be an obvious mistake on my part...although please feel free to prove me wrong on that point!|||Are you sure all the ingredients are in your bag? Or that you aren't seeing an item that is a similar icon for the material, but really isn't the material? Without you being more specific, it's hard to say.|||Definitely sounds like there's something odd going on with the materials. The game believes you don't have them with you...whether or not you do, I obviously can't ascertain.

(And you are close enough to a forge/anvil?)|||I can't check at the moment, but I believe if you have the materials, they aren't greyed out if you are not standing near an anvil. So it's definately a problem with the materials. Like dusketernal asked, are you sure you have them and that they are not in your bank?|||As Snow said, check to make sure they are in your bags and NOT in your bank. It may show you "have", say, 10 bars of copper and could make them, except that these bars are in the bank. They have to be physically ON you, in your walking-around bags.

This would be my bet as well. The same thing will happen with quests.

Also, if you have the items but are not close to an anvil, you will see the materials, and can click the Create button but it will tell you that you need anvil, forge, etc.|||are you using the stock Blizzard trade UI or a replacement. Sometimes with Advanced Trade Skill Window it will tell you that you have the mats or can make something based on mats your alts have.
