Annihilator Holo-Gogs

[:1]When I saw the schematic for this on the AH at a very low price, I quickly bought it with my bank alt, thinking that my level 465 Goblin Engineer could make them for sure. But I'm told by the game that he can't learn it. I thought then it might be a Gnomish Engineering item that I'd have to save until my other guy levels up. Am I right?

The schematic says it's for cloth wearers (Mage, Warlock, Priest) and requires 375 in Engineering. Nowhere in all the sites I've looked at does it say what sort of Engineering you need to learn it, nor does it say that you have to be one of these classes to make it (it almost looks from the schematic like that's the case). Can someone tell me about this, please?|||Looking at the recipe on Wowhead it does appear as though the recipe itself is only available to Priests Mages and Warlocks. The item itself doesn't mention any restrictions other than 350 Engineering.|||Yep, The recipe is only usuable by clothies and as the item is BOP then so is the item itself. The recipe also needs the previous tier of cloth googles to make (which are also only usable by these same classes).|||Many thanks for the answers - I don't have a cloth-wearing Engineer, so will sell it on again on the AH. First recipe or schematic I've ever seen that was restricted to a class to make it.|||All the higher tier goggle patterns that drop from Sunwell have the same restrictions (I think)|||Quote:

Indeed, they are all class restricted. I noticed the same when researching gear for my Rogue:

from Wowwiki|||Here's another idea: make a new character, a clothy and give them engineering!|||Quote:

Took me by surprise. When I bought it it wasn't expensive and I wasn't really sure if it was restricted to classes to make the things or if that applied to what classes could use it.|||Quote:

Got two already (non-cloth wearers) one Goblin, one Gnomish, so I think not.|||Quote:

You bought the pattern right?
