has blacksmithing died ?

well my war is 80 and maxed out black smith. ive made myself some nice boots and the helm is next on my list. after that well im a bit lost.

i cant seem to find any recipes for bop epics just the boe gear. also it seems we cant make sharpening stones any more, this being a pain as my new axe is to high a lvl for me to use adamantite stones on.

being weapon smith im even more upset as the only 2h weapon i can make is a mace. dont get me wrong its a nice mace but i do love my axes and its boe not bop so id imagine every man and his dog will have it soon.

hopefully in the next patch blizz will sort this out and make it worth while being a black smith and give us back the nice bop gear we are used to|||There's supposedly going to be 0 BoP patterns for anyone.|||ask a alchemist ^^now there is a dead profession.

you got 2 items, that is allready more than they will ever have.|||Quote:

QFT

<sigh>|||aren't the flying carpets BOP?|||Quote:

i dont remember so.

but it does require a high level of tailoring to use. aparently, tailors can handle flying carpets and others cant. but i know... its a cool item for tailors, much like the engineering flyer for engineers.|||Alchemy went downhill very badly... Honestly... 1 potion per fight = BS. They could've made it to where it was 1 potion every 1:30, then if you're in combat it doubles each time you use a potion, so 1:30, 3:00, 6:00, 12:00, 24:00, and obviously most wouldn't even make it to the 12, since that's 10:30 for 3 potions.|||Is there an Armorsmith trainer anywhere? I didn't see any in the two starting areas.

I have to say I'm very pleased with the green tanking gear my lv71 warrior tank can make and use. It's a lot better than the felsteal set I was wearing before.

The green Burning Crusade stuff was just crap to DE.|||Blizzard decided that they didn't want people to feel pressured to take a particular profession because of the available gear. They have made all the gear available to craft boe.

With regards to blacksmithing there are no specialisations any more so don't bother looking for them|||Quote:
