Cooking recipe vendor in Dalaran?

[:1]All the websites say there are vendors in Dalaran selling cooking recipes but don't give locations. I've combed the entire place from one end to another and not found one. Found a lot of strange and interesting vendors, but no one selling cooking recipes. I can't learn more from the trainer until I level up, can't level up until I can cook more things. Any help would be much appreciated.|||Have you checked the Filthy Animal?

Not sure on your faction Froggie ;)|||the guy in the kitchen sells cooking recipes, you will need Dalaran Cooking Awards to buy them. You get those by completing cooking dailies offered by Katharine Lee in the same kitchen.|||I discovered (thanks to both of you) the recipes. I saw them on the first go around but didn't realise that those quests are the only way to get any recipes. I thought someone might sell recipes.

And since he's a level 72 and can't get to Dalaran unless I pay someone to make a portal, I'm out of luck, I guess, until he levels up. Even if you do get a portal, you can't get the flight point, so it's a pointless exercise (little pun there).|||If he's 72 can't you get the BOA cold weather flying heirloom (1000g?) on your 80 and allow your 72 to fly around Northrend? It's usable by 68+ and speeds up Northrend levelling by a huge amount.|||Quote:

I've heard rumours of this, but never been able to find it. The flying trainers everywhere don't offer it to me, nor does that spiffy mount guy in Dalaran. I looked all over endlessly - I've got the 80 (he paid the 4000 gold) but never could find the 'family' one.|||Quote:

He's in Dalaran, Krasus Landing where the flight point is, and is the same NPC you bought the Cold Weather Flying from at 77 with your level 80.|||http://www.wowwiki.com/Tome_of_Cold_Weather_Flight

Thanks, guys. It's odd, though, not working right. When I take my level 80 to the trainer on the flight place in Dalaran and try to buy the book it says 'You are not eligible to buy this' or words to that effect. Could this be because I already bought the skill for him months ago in Vallience Keep?|||Are you sure you're trying to buy the heirloom book and not the skill itself ?

If you are trying to buy the book, then I'd open a ticket in-game and see if a GM can help.
